Gadgets to Look forward to at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked Event

Samsung again held the "Galaxy Unpacked" event to introduce its flagship product line. Just like last year, Galaxy Unpacked, which falls on February 11, will take place in San Francisco, United States.

There are several rumors surrounding this big event, including the presence of a successor to the Galaxy S10 series. So far, the name alone is still being debated because the fastest rumors circulating on the internet timeline say that Samsung will name its new flagship Galaxy S20, not S11.

Regardless of the name of the phone, here are some gadgets that are predicted to appear on the Galaxy Unpacked Samsung.

1. Galaxy S11/S20

Yup , as mentioned above, this year's Galaxy Unpacked will be used by Samsung to showcase the successor to the Galaxy S10.

If you look at the series of rumors published by a number of technology observers such as Evan Blass, there are three Galaxy S11/S20 series that are ready to be released by Samsung, just like the Galaxy S10.

All three are distinguished by the size of the phone. So far, what appears on the internet calls the smallest size 6.2 inches or 6.4 inches, then in the middle it's 6.7 inches, while the jumbo is 6.9 inches. The screen uses an OLED panel and a super high refresh rate .

Another rumor also mentions that Samsung might equip the Galaxy S20 with 5 cameras on the back, complete with ultra-wide angle and zoom or telephoto features . Some even believe that the Galaxy S20 could have a 108MP camera.

2. Galaxy Fold 2

Many predict that Samsung will repeat last year's launch which also introduced its folding screen phone. At Galaxy Unpacked this year, Samsung is believed to be bringing the Galaxy Fold 2.

The successor to the first Galaxy Fold has been rumored to be introduced by Samsung in early 2020.

The design is also different, no longer a folding screen whose concept is like a book, but folds vertically like a flip phone. Later called the clamshell design , the Galaxy Fold 2 is believed to be similar to the Motorola Razr folding screen phone.

3. 5G phones

This prediction is getting stronger since Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 865 chipset which already supports 5G modems. Qualcomm also said that every premium Android phone will have 5G capabilities.

Well , Samsung is used to using Qualcomm's latest high-end processors for its premium phones. Like the Galaxy S10 series which also provides a 5G edition, Samsung is also believed to be launching a 5G version for the S20.

4. Galaxy Buds+

Samsung's newest wireless earphones , the Galaxy Buds+ are also expected to arrive at Galaxy Unpacked this year to compete with Apple's AirPods, and other TWS earphones .

Galaxy Buds + will reportedly come with a better battery capacity than the previous version, as well as improved sound quality and fast-charging . However, it seems that the Galaxy Buds+ are not supported by noise-canceling features like Amazon's Echo Buds and AirPods.
